What's New:Article on 100WHFConnect! Ever ahead of the curve, the hedge fund industry's primo women's organization is turning to online social networking to keep its 10,000 members in touch wherever they are in the world. 100 Women in Hedge Funds, New York and London, launched 100WHFConnect!, a member-only, online network interface to its general membership earlier this month. "The goal was to create a new interconnective platform that supports the three pillars of 100 Women in Hedge Funds: peer leverage, education and philanthropy," said Anne Popkin, the organization's chairwoman in an interview. 100WHF membership information and a link to the new platform is available at http://www.100womeninhedgefunds.org.
Especially important to the group's board is the easy link the platform provides for its far-flung membership,
about 25% of whom live outside the U.S. and another 25% of whom don't live in the New York city/tri-state area,
