Making a Difference in 2008

100 Women in Hedge Funds now has more than 8,000 registered members around the world. We run events in seven cities in the US and four in Europe and Asia. Check out upcoming events. Please contact our Education Committee if you have ideas for speakers or topics you would like to hear.

As many know, we host big fundraising events in New York and London every year, but members around the world also have fun and do good by establishing teams--of men and women--to participate in local "Race for the Cure" events. 2008 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Susan B. Komen 'Race for the Cure' and Team 100WHF will do its first walk/run on May 11, in Minneapolis. You can visit Susan B. Komen for the Cure to organize a race/walk in your town. Encourage friends and colleagues to get involved and 'make a difference' by organizing a 'Team 100WHF' in your local area or supporting one of the many events hosted throughout the country. Learn more about the Minneapolis race team.

We also have four women signed up already to do the Hike for Hope, a week's trek in March 2009 across the Sinai desert, for 100WHF's UK charity of the year, Wellbeing of Women. To participate or learn more about that event, please visit Action for Charity-Hike For Hope. To sponsor the women doing the trek or for other inquires, please contact our Executive Director.

There are many ways to get involved. We need your participation to ensure that we continue to offer the unique programming we are able to provide without charging membership dues.
