5th AnniversaryOn Feb 5, 2002, 100 Women in Hedge Funds held its first event in New York City. Since then, we have held more than 90 events in cities across the US, and in London; raised more than $10 million through five Gala fundraisers in New York and two in Chicago, participated in Race for the Cure in New York, Dallas, Denver and Austin, and provided members with opportunities for professional development through our Job Board, Peer Advisory Councils and 2nd Generation dialogue. With 6,000 members globally, and growing, we are excited to announce that in 2007 we will be celebrating five years as an organization with a series of events and activities. We hope that wherever you are in the world, you will be part of the celebrations! If there is not something planned in your city, we still want you to be able to celebrate with us too. Please contact our membership committee if you'd like to organize something (however casual) in your city. And encourage your friends and colleagues wherever they are in the world to register with 100 Women in Hedge Funds or contact membership to see who they can connect with in their city. KICKOFF EVENT February 5, 2007 was proclaimed 100 Women in Hedge Funds Day by Mayor Michael Bloomberg! This is the fifth anniversary of our first education event.
