Biography

Marilyn Cohen is a Managing Director in the Global Funds Group at JPM Securities Inc. focusing on client relationships for the alternative industry. Prior to the founding of the Global Funds Group at JPMorgan in 2003, she was involved in corporate lending managing various groups within the Commercial Bank. Ms Cohen joined JPM in 1979, starting with Chemical Bank in the corporate lending training program.

Prior to joining Chemical Bank, Ms Cohen taught history at the Dalton School, Scarsdale High School and the Newton Public Schools. She has also authored various history books for secondary education.

Ms Cohen is a graduate of Smith College with Masters Degrees in History, Education and Counseling from Tufts University and Boston University. She serves on the Board of Midori and Friends and the Board of the Alzheimer's Association of NYC. Ms Cohen is actively involved in fundraising efforts for Smith College and Financial Literacy and is a Member of the Cosmopolitan club and the Financial Women's Association.
