Biography

Noelle-Claire LeCann is the Managing Principal of AlphaSource Advisors LLC, a registered investment advisory, and AlphaSource Capital Securities LLC, a securities broker-dealer and signatory of the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investing where she manages a team of investment professionals focused on impact investing. In these roles, Noelle has been responsible for directing all aspects of the business since inception. In 2011, she became a board member and the communications chair for the NY Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals, an advocacy group for women and minorities in finance.

Prior to founding AlphaSource, she raised assets for a variety of alternative investment strategies and became the New York Regional Director of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, a non-profit association focused on setting best practices in risk management.

In 1995, she joined Schonfeld Securities, where she ran a proprietary trading desk managing a long/short portfolio and heading a team of 8 traders.

She started her career at Salomon Brothers after graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1987.
