Biography

Sari J. Mayer, CAIA, is Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Global Credit Advisers, LLC, ("GCA") manager of a $600mm long/short credit fund specializing in trading and researching instruments in the high yield corporate credit markets. Prior to joining GCA, Sari was Director of Marketing at Boone Capital, an event driven hedge fund. Before entering the hedge fund space, she was an investment banker at Credit Suisse and prior to that a sell-side equity analyst at Salomon Smith Barney for which she received several industry awards including top rankings as determined by Institutional Investor.

Sari earned her BA cum laude in Mathematics and Spanish from Amherst College, and received her MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and was selected to participate in the International Management Program at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain.

Sari lives in New York City with her husband and three daughters. She is currently Vice President of the Horace Mann School Alumni Council, Member of the Board of Directors of La Escuelita New York, Member of the Alumni Council of New York University Stern School of Business and Co-Owner of Contemporary Posters (www.contemporaryposters.com).
