distribution of BlackRock’s hedge funds across EMEA. Additionally Sheryl leads the firm’s relationships with several
strategic clients across the alternatives segment globally. Sheryl joined the firm in London in 2001 when it was still
part of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Prior to her current position she was based in BlackRock’s New York
office, initially leading coverage of several strategic private banking relationships in the US and then moving into the
Institutional Business to cover Family Offices and UHNW clients in the US and Canada. She returned to London in
mid-2012 to take up her current role.
Sheryl sits on the Steering Committee of BlackRock’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) in EMEA, acting as Advisor
on all external WIN activities and with responsibility for the partnership with 100 Women in Hedge Funds in Europe.
In her spare time Sheryl is passionate about the arts; she is a Young Patron’s Ambassador for the National Theatre
and sits on the National Theatre Young Patrons Committee with a focus on Individual Giving.
