Vanessa Mortillaro

Ms. Mortillaro works as an Associate in the Corporate and Investment Banking Division at MUFG. She covers the Media, Telecom, & Sports Finance industries for US clients providing credit analysis, acquisition financing, new syndicated bank facilities, and other investment banking and markets products. Prior to MUFG, Vanessa was an Investment Counselor at Fisher Investments, and an Alternative Investments Associate at J.P. Morgan Chase’s Private Bank. At Fisher, she was responsible for maintaining a $250mm book of High Net Worth Clients, and at J.P. Morgan she worked on the Private Bank’s global suite of alternative investment products from an array of managers of private equities, hedge funds, real estate funds, and exchange funds. Earlier in her career, Vanessa was an Associate at Morgan Stanley where she was responsible for the tracking and management reporting functions for all of the Firm’s Investment Banking M&A deals. She is also involved with non-profit organizations including on the Young Professionals Board of New York Asian Women’s Center (NYAWC), Habitat for Humanity, and Girl’s Quest. Vanessa had an accelerated graduation with honors, and received a B.A. in Finance with concentrations in Economics and Spanish from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Currently, she is a Level 2 CFA Candidate and holds the Series 7, 63, 65, and 79 licenses.
