Prior to moving to her current role in 2010, Ms. Ehrlich was a member of BlackRock's Proprietary Alpha Strategies team, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the firm's alternative investment clients. Ms. Ehrlich joined BlackRock in 2001 as an analyst in the Global Client Group, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the firm's non-US institutional clients. Originally based in New York, she spent a year in BlackRock's Hong Kong office in 2004, returning to the New York office and assuming her current responsibilities in 2005.
Ms. Ehrlich earned a BA degree in political science, with a minor in business administration, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001.
