Geeta B. Aiyer
Founder and President of Boston Common Asset Management
Geeta B. Aiyer, CFA, is the Investment Strategist for Boston Common Asset Management's investment products. Working as a portfolio manager for institutions and individuals allows Geeta to combine her commitment to sustainability with her training and experience in investment theory and finance. She has worked with investments for over 20 years and was formerly President of Walden Asset Management, the social investment division of United States Trust Company of Boston. Geeta's prior work experience includes tenure with Cambridge Associates as well as public administration and rural development in India. She has founded two prior companies, Walden Capital Management (1994) and East India Spice (1987). She received her MBA from Harvard University and her BA(Hons) and MA degrees from the University of Delhi, India. Geeta serves on the boards of the Worldwatch Institute and the New England Foundation for the Arts.
