2008 London Fundraiser celebrating women's health

To give all members the opportunity to contribute to our 2008 philanthropic efforts, in addition to our 2008 London Gala event on September 24, a London members and colleagues fundraising event was held at the Opera Gallery on September 9 to benefit Wellbeing of Women, the beneficiary of all 100 Women in Hedge Funds philanthropic efforts in Europe in 2008.
The raffle included a chance to host a personal or professional event at La Verriere, the boutique winery and country retreat that is home to Chêne Bleu and its full immersion wine education programme. Opera Gallery donated "Dancing Boy", a sculpture from famous Brazilian pop artist, Romero Britto, which was sold through the silent auction.
