2010 Geneva Charity Gala to benefit Solidarité Femmes (Women Supporting Women)

This black-tie Gala held in Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday, 22nd September 2010, raised over CHF200,000 for the outreach project of Solidarité Femmes Genéve (Women Supporting Women). Besides enjoying quality dining, guests were in rapture at the performance by world-class opera singers from the Solti Te Kanawa Accademia di Bel Canto (sponsored by Reyl & Cie). The live auction conducted with brio by Sotheby's Managing Director in Geneva Caroline Lang featured as top lot a dazzling pair of pink sapphire, ruby and diamond earnings from the house of Adler. Tombola prizes included 5* and boutique hotel stays, gourmet dinners, designer accessories and cigars. The Gala was attended by Geraldine Sundstrom, winner of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds 2010 European Industry Leadership Award and a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Brevan Howard Asset Management.
