DonorsChoose.org, an online charity connecting donors to classrooms in need, was the beneficiary of our 2012 New York Gala which raised $1.4 million.
Dr. Marna Whittington, former CEO of Allianz Global Investors Capital, was awarded the 2012 U.S. Industry Leadership Award
David M. Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of The Carlyle Group, was awarded the 2012 Effecting Change Award
Pete Dominick was the Master of Ceremonies and the PS22 Chorus performed.
