2nd Generation Dialogue Initiative
We have within 100 Women in Hedge Funds a subset of members who are junior in their hedge fund careers.
To cater to this exciting demographic, the "Second Generation Dialogue Initiative" provides a venue to help
the junior women become successful in the next steps in their hedge fund careers.
The dialogue consists of a series of events to cover various issues, challenges, and decisions women may encounter
during their upward career paths.
As an outgrowth of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds' Peer Advisory Council groups and part
of the Professional Leverage platform, this forum creates a more intimate roundtable that
enables young women hedge fund professionals to enhance the skills, tools, and market intelligence
they need in order to advance in their careers. The series focuses on emerging issues for second
generation of women in hedge funds, and create an atmosphere where more junior hedge fund
professionals can discuss these issues amongst themselves as well as seek out information and advice from the senior members of
100 Women in Hedge Funds. In addition to panel discussions, the meetings incorporate workshops,
book readings and networking opportunities.
The "Second Generation Dialogue Initiative" will be a series of six meetings over a period of
twelve months, with sessions at two-month intervals and arranged by the
Second Generation Dialogue Task Force.
We expect the group meeting size will
range from 50-75 participants per meeting.
Thank you to all members who responded, applications are now closed.
