100 WOMEN IN HEDGE FUNDS ANNOUNCES BOARD APPOINTMENTS

added to 100WHF Association Board

New York, NY - June 12, 2008 - 100 Women in Hedge Funds today announced key appointments to support the organization’s growing worldwide network, including two Association Board members. The organization now has more than 8,000 members around the world active in cities including New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, London, Geneva, and Hong Kong.

Anne B. Popkin, BlueCrest Capital Management, and President of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, announced the appointment of two more practitioners to the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Association Board: Suzanne Brenner, Chief Investment Officer, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Stephanie Breslow, Partner, Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP.

Suzanne Brenner is the Chief Investment Officer of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she oversees the management of the Museum's $2.9 billion investment portfolio, including asset allocation, investment manager selection, and risk management. Suzanne joined the Museum in 1999. Prior to working at the Museum, Suzanne was the Director of Investments and Assistant Treasurer of The Rockefeller Foundation. She began her career at Ernst & Young, where she worked for eleven years concurrently managing several domestic and multinational audit client engagements. Suzanne has a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of music degree from City University of New York at Queens College, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a certified public accountant and currently serves on the board of The Investment Fund for Foundations.

Stephanie Breslow is a Partner in the Investment Management Practice Group at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Her practice concentrates on investment management, partnerships and securities, focusing on hedge funds and private equity funds, as well as broker-dealer and investment management regulatory advice. Stephanie is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a graduate of Harvard University. She is listed in Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, America’s Leading Lawyers and Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers. She is on the Board of Trustees of the Joyce Theatre.

"Membership growth continues to expand both domestically and internationally," noted Anne Popkin, President of the Board of 100 Women in Hedge Funds. "The organization is constantly seeking ways to serve the growing demographic and geographic diversity of its membership, and we are always challenging ourselves to provide unique educational programming and other services to our membership. Adding Stephanie and Suzanne to the Board reflects these growing efforts."

"I can think of no better additions to the Board than Suzanne and Stephanie, who will bring their broad industry perspectives to the Board," said Eve Teich, a Director of the Board of 100 Women in Hedge Funds who steered the Nominating Committee through the selection process. "We are all thrilled that two such well-respected women in the alternatives sector agreed to join us."

Additionally, three roles have been added to lead the expanding education, professional leverage and philanthropy committees. The new Education Chair is Janie Chen, Partners Capital Investment Group LLP; the new Leverage Chair is Anita Hill Sands of Intuition Financial Placement, LLC; and the new Philanthropy Chair is Andrea Pincus, Reed Smith LLP, who replaces Lauren Malafronte. Ms. Malafronte, Barclays Capital, stepped down as Philanthropy Chair, as she was recently appointed as a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds Foundation Board.
