9th Annual Risk Management Panel: Geopolitical Risk

July 14, 2010 | New York, NY

Geopolitical risk has evolved over the last several years as the balance of world political and economic power
shifts to emerging economies, most notably Asia. This conference will examine how the balance of global
economic power has shifted toward Capitalist States (namely China), how this may (or may not) impact the
environment in which multinationals businesses operate, and investment opportunities deriving from this. In our
9th Annual Risk Management Panel, we will tackle the topic of managing risk at the macroeconomic level and
the lessons to be learned from recent events (i.e., Greece and the Gulf Oil Spill).

Our distinguished panel has many years of experience analyzing such risks and applying their expertise in
different ways, either through consulting assignments or in making investment decisions in a portfolio. How can a
better understanding of geopolitical risk benefit our decision making?

Participants:
Daniel Arbess, Perella Weinberg Partners
Willis Sparks, Eurasia Group
Helima Croft, Barclays Capital
Dagen McDowell, Moderator, Fox Business Network

Host: Barclays Capital
